When the East Coast Manager for ST&S reached out to me to join Dish University, a groundbreaking program designed to train individuals for sales roles at Dish Network, I recognized a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change. As a member of the inaugural class at Dish U, I collaborated closely with trainers in a remote work-from-home environment to enhance asynchronous learning modules using platforms like Google Classroom and PerformanceMatters. Additionally, I took the lead in recruiting fellow university students to join as retention agents, thereby strengthening our team’s capacity. Beyond these responsibilities, I presented a comprehensive strategy to C-Suite leadership aimed at overhauling the sales process, including IVR routing, UI design for clients, and pricing structures. This initiative was intended to streamline operations and improve customer interactions. Furthermore, I worked directly with clients to upsell services, retain their business, and maximize their lifetime value to the company, ensuring sustained growth and enhanced customer satisfaction.
